Our soaps are produced according to traditional methods using oils extracted from bay leaves and olives harvested in our village and the surrounding region. Our soaps are living examples of the historic hamam soap culture. Unlike similar products, our soaps are produced in accordance with old/traditional methods and formulations. Amid the pressures of mass production and commercial concerns, the old-fashioned production methods—which are being abandoned day by day—have been kept alive for years under the name Sabunizade. In summary, we are dedicated to preserving the traditions of “craftsmanship” and the “soaphouse.” Sabunizade Soaps are the products of this tradition, which is why they have gained international recognition and created a sense of awareness.
